Ordering the Electronic Version of the Book
While the HTML and PDF versions of the book remain freely accessible, we strongly encourage those planning to read larger sections of the book to consider purchasing an official copy. To place an order, please send an informal email to
We will then provide you with the necessary ordering details, including our bank account information.
For EU (European Union) citizens, we prefer payments through bank transfers. However, you can also use Paypal, using our email address. Please note that due to technical constraints, only residents of the EU, USA, and Canada can currently purchase the electronic version of the book.
The price for the electronic versions of the book is 49 euros. This payment grants the customer the right to access and store local copies of all HTML and PDF versions of the book. If a compatible reader device is available, the monochrome EPUB or MOBI versions may also be utilized. We highly recommend downloading and testing the electronic versions thoroughly before purchase to avoid the necessity for refunds. For those who find the 49 euros prohibitive, we offer a restricted black-and-white-only PDF version for a reduced price of 29 euros. Due to the German “Buchpreisbindung” (Fixed Book Price Agreement), we are currently unable to offer additional discounts.
Please note that a printed version of the book is not yet available. This is because Nim 2.0 has not yet been officially released, and minor adjustments to the book’s content may still be necessary. To date, very few people have expressed a desire for a printed version. The estimated price for the printed version is 69 euros, which includes the electronic versions. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, colored print for the book. Therefore, we plan to produce an initial edition of at least 100 copies. For smaller quantities, the fixed costs become prohibitive, and past experience has shown that the quality of single-piece on-demand printing is insufficient. However, should demand for a printed version prove minimal, we may resort to on-demand printing.
Distribution of the printed book is likely to be managed by Amazon or a similar publishing company. That company might then assume responsibility for selling the electronic versions, offering global distribution, and possibly providing discounts and promotional prices.
If you’re interested in a printed copy, we advise against ordering the electronic version now. Instead, simply send us a message expressing your serious interest in a printed copy. The reason for this is that refunding payment for the electronic version is challenging and may result in multiple tax payments for the author.
